1. Your report
A physician reviews and signs every report, but a report is not a diagnosis or treatment plan on its own.
2. Screening markers
Screening markers, including the cancer markers on The Complete Baseline, are prompts for further investigation. A normal result doesn't rule out disease, and an abnormal one doesn't confirm it.
3. Reference ranges
Reference ranges vary with age, sex, pregnancy, medicines and lab methods.
4. Food, supplements and lifestyle
Food, supplement and lifestyle suggestions are general guidance based on your results.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting supplements, especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medicines or have a medical condition. Never stop a prescribed medicine without advice.
5. Food and allergy panels
Food and allergy panels measure antibody levels. They support a clinical allergy assessment but don't replace it.
Never reintroduce a food that has caused a severe reaction without medical supervision.
6. Pregnancy and children
The Mother Baseline sits alongside your antenatal care, and The Growth Baseline is best discussed with your child's doctor.
7. Emergencies
In an emergency, call 998 or go to the nearest emergency department. Don't wait for a report.
8. Your own doctor
Always follow the advice of your own doctor.
